v_greysonon bsky, I said I had Heated Rivalry RPF headcanons but would not post them publicly on main. technically this is public, and technically this is main, but also: this is dreamwidth; if you came here and are shocked to find horny RPF headcanons, I Don’t Know What You Expected.
therefore, without further ado, A Unified Theory of HudCon
my read is that Hudson, a jock who went to theatre school, was such a rare commodity in a performing arts school as a guy who actually liked women that he just dated and hooked up with all the girls he wanted and didn’t really bother with anything else because??? girls are into him and he’s into them and it’s so easy??? But of course he’s not like, closed-minded or a prude or anything, and labels are so — constraining and whatever, why rule anything out? He could probably be into anything—or anyone—in the right circumstance.
meanwhile Connor: lives in WeHo, first place he was clocked after HR came out was in his gym which has a room entirely devoted to making your ass look good. also: involved in the alternative clowning scene. listen, in most circus disciplines, the presence of anyone that’s not some flavor of queer and/or trans is so statistically unlikely as to be a rounding error, but once you are clarifying that you are an ALTERNATIVE SCENE, I’m sorry, that is gay (inclusive) as hell.
also in the buzzfeed thirst tweets video there was a bit where Connor was sort of clarifying to Hudson about bussy and boy pussy. reaffirming my headcanon of Connor as extremely queer and Hudson as straightish best friend.
